Dr. Todd Petersen

DDS

Dr. Petersen started his college education at BYU and then transferred to the University of Oklahoma. There, he finished his undergraduate studies and then attended the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, receiving his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2015. Upon graduation, Dr. Petersen started practicing in Spring Creek, NV until he relocated to Utah in 2020.

Dr. Petersen served a mission in Trujillo, Peru where he learned Spanish and loves being able to use that skill to better communicate with his patients. Dr. Petersen has a love for dentistry and for people. He has spent hundreds of hours receiving additional training to be able to provide a wide variety of services to his patients. Whether you need a filling, a root canal, an implant or braces, he’s got you covered!

When he’s not in the office, Dr. Petersen enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife, Rachael and their 5 children, Ryun, Zac, Rose, Tate and Blair. Their family motto is “work hard, play hard” and enjoy spending their free time playing games, traveling, camping, boating and being outdoors.

Dr. Tad Tholstrom

DDS

Dr. Tholstrom graduated with bachelor’s degree in international relations and then attended dental school at the University of Colorado, graduating in 2006.

After receiving a commission as an officer in the U.S. Air Force, he completed a post-graduate residency in advanced general dentistry at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia. He was later assigned as a member of the 1st Special Operations Medical Group in Florida where he spearheaded a humanitarian deployment to trans-Saharan Africa. His assignment in Florida culminated by being awarded the 1st Special Operations Medical Group’s Field Grade Officer of the Year. He was assigned to the 60th Dental Squadron at Travis Air Force Base in California and later deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Prior to moving to Utah, Dr. Tholstrom was the Chief of Dental Services at Royal Air Force Alconbury near Cambridge, England.

Dr. Tholstrom moved to Utah in 2017 to begin his career in private dentistry. He speaks Spanish and Italian and in addition to serving his patients at Marmalade Dentistry, he continues to serve as a dentist in the National Guard.
