If you’re experiencing a dental emergency, follow these steps:
- Pause: It’s easy to feel overwhelmed in a medical emergency. Before calling our office, please take a moment to pause, breathe, and collect yourself so that our team members on stand-by can best assist you. (Note: If you’ve lost a tooth, please place the knocked-out tooth in a glass of milk and bring it to your appointment. If placed within a few hours, our emergency dentist might be able to save the tooth!)
- Call: The most effective way to contact the Amigos Dental Care team in the case of a dental emergency is to give us a ring. So, call (385) 295-1601 to schedule an appointment at our Redwood Road emergency dental clinic. Our staff can arrange a same-day dental appointment based on availability. (If you believe your life is threatened or you’ve been in an accident where you suffered head trauma, please call 911 or visit the nearest emergency room immediately.)
- Manage: Until you can visit our Salt Lake City emergency dental office, please do what you can to mitigate discomfort (with over-the-counter pain medication), swelling (with a cold compress), and bleeding (by placing clean gauze and light pressure on the affected area).
